KentuckyUnited, a collaborative marketing initiative of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development, is proud to release the 2020 market program calendar, which features an abbreviated and enhanced event portfolio. Registration is open to all KAED members with a $1,200 fee per attendee, per event. Events will feature strategic programming crafted to targeted markets and/or conferences and consultants that are closely aligned with the priorities of the Commonwealth and KAED members. 

#KYUAtlanta is a two-day event featuring a consultant luncheon and small group meetings with site location consultants.

A one hour online workshop that will introduce participants to a BRE Assessment Process. This session will explore the CEDIK BRE program, survey tool, and implementation process.  

A one hour workshop that will explore how to interpret and respond to the feedback collected from existing businesses to improve the local business environment.

KentuckyUnited Virtual Marketing

Purpose
To ensure the Commonwealth’s marketing continues in 2020, KentuckyUnited has formed an innovative series of targeted opportunities to engage site location consultants virtually.

Model
KentuckyUnited, in partnership with Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development, will target active site location consultants to participate in one-hour video conference meetings.

Calendar
KentuckyUnited will engage in a series of recurring and frequently offered meetings per consultant and participant availability thru the remainder of 2020.

#KYUChicago is a two-day event featuring a consultant luncheon and small group meetings with site location consultants.

The Association annually elects active members to serve as Directors on the KAED Board. Per Association bylaws, each year 3 Directors shall be elected to serve terms of 3 years. As such, the KAED Nominating Committee has made a call for nominations and is pleased to announce the 2020 Candidates.

The Candidate slate of professionals represents an accomplished and passionate group of leaders, who have demonstrated a commitment to continue to lead within the Commonwealth and also within KAED. We invite active members to register for the upcoming "Candidate Forum," at which each candidate will better introduce themselves.

The Kentucky Economic Forum is the Fall Conference and Annual Meeting of the Kentucky Association for Economic Development. The event is the largest Association function at which economic developers, elected officials, policy makers, business leaders, consultants, and thought leaders convene to discuss strategies to analyze, assist, and accelerate economic development in the Commonwealth.

To equip KAED Members with the skills necessary to exceed the professional capacity of our competitors and to perpetuate our success on a global stage, the KAED Foundation, in partnership with the University of Kentucky and Murray State University, has developed the Kentucky Economic Development Professional Certification Program. This Summit is a course offering within the Certification Program.

The KAED Collaboration Conference is the Association's spring meeting. Join 250+ colleagues to discuss the Commonwealth's economic development strategies, innovative initiatives, our on-going pandemic recovery and resilience, success stories, best practice content delivered by world class professionals and consultants, and unparalleled networking.  

The Kentucky Diversity & Equity Summit will bring Kentucky's economic developers, business leaders, and policy makers together to build capacities and strategize on the growth of communities and the Commonwealth. Join the Association as we discuss trends in site selection, best practice programming, available data resources, and methods to continue to accelerate economic development in the Commonwealth. The Summit is free for KAED Members!
